Need to get back onto this Tumblr stuff and update. But whats there to say?
I am back with the love of my life havign not seen her for two months. That might not sound that bad. But it is when since the end of Feb, I’ve spent a month with her. Having been with her for almost every single day since June 2010.
Been on the hunt for a job. Hopefully get one soon. If not I’ll have to work in a coffee place and look for jobs as I work in that one.
I have been enjoying wearing shorts almost every day since being here.
I’ve learnt that I don’t need to sleep much. Didn’t sleep much Thurs-Tuesday. 3 hours a night? Probably. Recently I’ve been getting 7 though which is perf.
Yeah. Just need to go out and have a drink.
Toronto is just ace.
Will do a bigger and better post soon.
I’M OFF TO CANADA!!!
It’s true. Visa came Tuesday night. So I’m off. A week today infact. So should be good. Haven’t been on this much recently. Not really typed anything up like I did up to until about a week ago.
Probably won’t be typing much before I go. But hopefully will add to this after I get there. Not sure what it will be about. But I’ll be posting to this sometime.
So excuse the lack of postings from me, recently. I’ll be back to norm in a week and a half or so.
I am seeing my amazing girlfriend in a weeks time :) :) :) :) hopefully I’ll never have to go a long time without seeing her ever again. Atleast not without a set date to countdown until.
Whoever doesn’t think long term relationships don’t work need to asses themselves. Not the idea of it all. If you put in the effort and patience, and if you love the person, it will work. We have been away from each other twice now. First time was 28th Feb - 7th June. Then June 7th - 25th August. It was hard. Really hard. But we both put a lot of effort into us. A lot of trust. Belief. And it has worked out. And I’m happy. Despite all the factors which are a pain in having a girlfriend who lives abroad and whos foreign (Canadian, we’ll have Commonwealth babies) I wouldn’t swap her for the World. I wouldn’t swap my experiences. And I’d rather have immigration issues, living abroad issues etc about a girl I really love than have to settle with some other girl who I’d be lucky to even love a fraction of what I love my girlfriend.
To all the fellas out there, go to Canada. The girls are much classier. English girls? I hope I am with my girlfriend forever and don’t have to settle for a British girl. Controversial? Have you seen the state of them walking highstreets up and down the country? I don’t know what makes them think big hooped earrings are nice. Or that wearing tracksuits are. Or the horrible accents I hear them talk in. Won’t even begin to ramble on about how they paint the make up on.
My girlfriend is amazing. British girls aren’t. A Canadian who likes ice hockey, football/soccer and who is HILARIOUS. She’s a keeper!!
PS: This is my 69th post……………………………………sickos.
Hahaha. I watched this the other night. My mum does not get the humour at all.

Hola! What, you think thats all I know? Whoa whoa whoa, hold your horses. Mi nombre es Aidan. Yep, thats all my Spanish written down. Oh, and, “manana”.
I haven’t really started. I want to learn it with my girlfriend and we are thinking about getting a nice bit of software to do it, for Christmas. So until then I’ll probably learn something else. Not sure which language. Still deciding. How are you finding Spanish then?
Yeah we seem to have a few things in common. Everything but Disney. Hope you are okaaaaay.
I’ve just watched this. Watched half two nights ago and the final half just. What. A. Film. It’s about a Liverpudlian who goes to Spain to fight against General Franco in the Spanish Civil War. I’m interested in the Spanish Civil War so I’d like it anyway but it was a really good film.
The link I posted is the WHOLE film too. Which is nice of Youtube and Ken Loach. 100% legal and all.
Wolves Manager Mick McCarthy (via beigebananabandstand)
He has to be the best manager for quotes, surely? He’s either completely level headed and not getting into any hype anyone else might fall into, or, he’s funny like this quote shows.
The day Mick leaves WWFC will be a sad day. Great manager.
So, the morning of a highly anticipated season is here. And what comes with a season? Predictions. This won’t be too long. No point writing a huge essay just about predictions.
Top 5:
Liverpool
Man United
Man City
Chelsea
Arsenal
I know, I know, Liverpool to win. Can’t imagine it but I think it’s do-able. I think it’s out of Manchester United and Liverpool. If everyone stays fit. Which they won’t. I’m looking more at Suarez here. He’s a huge asset to Liverpool and the team just play better with him in the side. Every year I don’t rate Manchester United but they grind out results like noone else. They nick points all over the season. I take my hat off to them in that sense. I think Arsenal and Chelsea have lost it and don’t see any reason why Man City won’t be finishing third. It’s a good season to look forward to.
Relegation:
Villa
Blackburn
Swansea
Again, cereal will have got spit out here. Villa relegation? It’s true. I see a major problem with them this season. There survival depends on Darren Bent. If he fails this season, say bye to Villa. Blackburn only just survived the drop last season and I think they will be the team everyone fighting relegation will be wanting to put a win over. I think they are worse than last season. And I think QPR and Norwich will put in better performances in the season. Swansea, good little team but I think with the Premiership defences and tempo, Swansea will have to sacrifice the way they play. And with that, they’ll be playing a game the team aren’t really used to playing. Explosive little side but I think they’ll suffer after January.
Teams to watch:
Sunderland and Newcastle
Sunderland have sold and bought so many players. They have improved immensely. I’m really looking forward to seeing them play. Wouldn’t be surprised if they finish 6th/7th.
Newcastle are the iffy team this season. They can be either brilliant or horrendous. The signings made are really good but it depends on if the players gel or not. The players signed are efficient. Which means they should play better than last season. But it’s whether the team becomes more efficient which will depend on how well (or badly) they do.
Players to watch out for:
Victor Moses, Mauro Formica, Ji-Dong Won, Pajtim Kasami, Yohan Cabaye, Stephane Sessegnon, Scott Sinclair and Danny Graham
Signing of the season:
Yohan Cabaye (worthy mention for Ali Al-Habsi, though)
In deciding this I had to look into the cost of the player versus how I think he will do. It was either Cabaye or Ali Al-Habsi. I chose Cabaye. The Newcastle player was only £4.3 mil and looks a steal at that price. Keep a close eye on him. His main aspect is his passing. I don’t see him at Newcastle for many seasons.
Flop of the season:
Charlie Adam and David de Gea
Charlie Adam, for me, only looked decent being in a Blackpool team. I don’t think he is that good and don’t see what everybody else is seeing. I was surprised a team like Liverpool signed him. He offers more problems for the midfield, I’d say.
David de Gea, where do I start? He gets praised a lot but me knowing my La Liga, I know one thing. He’s a poor keeper with potential. If I could describe him as one thing it would be shaky. The Manchester United defence always keep out goals which adds confidence, but with Van Der Sar behind them, it added that last line of defence which cemented more confidence. De Gea is a shaky goalkeeper. He doesn’t have much confidence (yet) and it shows. If I was a manager playing against Manchester United, I’d be licking my lips at set pieces with de Gea in goal for them. Fumbling corners. Fumbling free kicks. Fumbling long range shots. For me, he’ll be a disappointment.
Wales versus England in the rugby and football season starts. Good weekend for sports. Depending on England, Liverpool and Wolves perform, you may be getting a rant by the end of the weekend. Beware.
Wanted to learn a new language for yeeeears. I learnt French in school but I forgot all of that years ago. I’ve wanted to learn Spanish for years and it’s the language I most want to be fluent in. Or at least be good at, talking it and understanding. But, I am waiting a while until I learn that.
Right now though, I’m after a language to learn. I say learn, I just want to know the very basics. But enough to get through conversations. Or even just to understand. I was planning on German but now venturing towards Mandarin, Arabic, Turkish or Polish. Not forgetting Russia.
It comes down to what I want to learn and what would be the most effcicient to learn. I want to learn Finnish or Dutch, but neither would help me that much. I’d love to learn Dutch though. But then again it would be a lot more helpful to me that I learn German.
Decisions, decisions.
